Because in his post-game interview, he specifically said the play was drawn up this way and he was afraid he'd messed it up when he dropped the ball. They ran it to make that punk Anthony Smith look like the clown he is. Mission accomplished.

This play was NOT drawn up that way, it was supposed to be a simple screen to Randy Moss but he's so ingenious he saw the entire Steeler defense there to murder him so he threw it back to Brady who is even more genious to find an open WR down the field lol
