This is one of the greatest songs of all-time. Reached # 1 on the R&B charts in March 1955. and # 20 on Billboard (they obviously weren't ready for this type of music)
The moonglows, sincerely.

From Louisville, KY. The Moonglows Harvey Fuqua was their lead singer. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

  • This is such a great classic..and I say Classic in every way, however, Harvey Fuqua is NOT the lead singer on this record. On the majority of the hits by The Moonglows, Bobby Lester sang lead. After he left, Harvey "took" over the lead, he sang lead on "Ten Commandment's of Love" a huge hit, but nowhere as good as the Bobby Lester hits. Harvey did write "Sincerely", it was covered by The Macguire Sisters who had a #1 hit with the song. Their version was excellent & admired by The Moonglows
