  • This is the smartest argument for hand draw I've heard. Bravo.

  • I totally agree with John. Even though I LOVE the 3-D Animation medium (All thanks to Pixar!), Hand-Drawn will always have a place in my heart. It's so disappointing when people use technology as an excuse to not use a different medium. Who said it had to be made with the newest latest technology around? I donno about anyone else, I'm just looking for a well told story (on the appropriate medium of course.) ;)

  • @dtcmac Amen

  • John's enthusiasm is infectious! Keep up the great work at both Pixar and Disney! :)

  • I was not so long ago watching the old akira movie and I have to say for something that was hand drawn it is bloody amazing

  • @mattjnor98 lets hope they are...

  • I agree with John, It's not technology itself that makes a good animated movie, it's what you DO with the technology that makes it work. Are you listening DreamWorks?

  • John is by far in the top of his world !! 2011 will bring epic movies from Disney and John

    God BLess

  • This is true. Very very true.

  • Never has a movie been liked soley because of it's technology... Until Avatar. An unoriginal plot with amazing graphics. Thank god for The Hurt Locker. And pixar...

  • John, you basically said everything I've been saying to people who thinks that 3-D is the best thing on Earth. I'm glad that a 3-D man like you really appreciates classic animation. People wanna be entertained by films just like what you said, and 2-D can definitely do that just like or even better than 3-D. Now I don't hate computer- animation because I LOVE it, but in my opinion 2-D is better. LONG LIVE CLASSIC ANIMATION.
