MSP430 project - Railroad Crossing

Final project in Computer Architecture course.
Based on micro-controller Msp430FG4618 of T.I.
The controller was Programmed in IAR (C) .
Interface programmed using MATLAB GUI.

Project Hardware:
1) 2 analog Servo motors (we used HXT900)
2) 2 Infra red detectors (each includes I.R LED and a phototransistor)
3) D.c motor electric train (we use LEGO model)
4) 4 relays (M45H)
5) 4 LEDs (for traffic lights)
6) 2 power supplies 5V each
7) resisors
8) photoresistor (LDR)

we used RS232 communication between P.C and micro controller

Video Description:
in the top left corner there is the interface which controls train speed and direction.
it is running on P.C and shows a "Live" shooting of the barrier area.
When lights are off ("Night") train max speed is lowered to
medium speed and music is also updated.
