Jason Milligan of Hartwick College was the last football player to successfully kick a drop kick field goal in NCAA history in 1998. ESPN ran a story on it in the college football Thursday night half time report under hidden video. Doug Flutie is the last pro football player to kick a drop kick

  • Wow

  • This is a point-after. An extra point. NOT a field goal

Something this rare, that few have any knowledge of, should be reported correctly. A field goal has more pressure and is worth 3 points. As the ESPN reporter states, they had their kicker hurt and were going for 2 point conversions pissing off the opponent so used a drop kick for this conversion.

This is unique enough without the mislabeling of it as a FG. Unless you don't understand football
