@pjeter49 I need to see the notes so I know what they are so when I hear them I know if it's A B or C etc. I'm a visually oriented person so I need to see it to learn it.

God I just want to learn how to hear the different notes and know when I sing them. Can anybody just give me a way to hear the note, know what the note is called and match the pitch?!

you actually helped me out with my singing because i've been having a hard time harmonizing lately because I tend to only want to sing in perfect 5ths ( I sing lots of pop-punk music with mostly powerchords so if i'm singing to a C all im hearing is a CGC. so i tend to try to sing one of those notes so what I've started doing is recording an acoustic guitar/piano or clean guitar part that plays the middle note of the true chord so in C's case the E. and that lets me harmonize with E!
