You actually have to know people in prison to know that everything Jerry Brown and Cate are saying is simply not true. Health care remains not just sub-standard but also very difficult to get. My friend has put in requests to see doctors and it's take a month to get a 'ducket' to get in. He's been called for appointments, waited over an hour, only to be told the doctor isn't in. The system is still a complete mess, inmates are STILL dying from lack of care and they don't want you to know.
