Cats are not like dogs. Some can't stand much physical attention because it overstimulates them. If you see a cat getting upset (serious tail action) and keep on petting you are asking for claw and teeth action, because they just have to get away and hide.

Wrong!! The Cat is the least stupid animal in a domestic environment. They are loving & loyal. They are great judges of people and will simply ignore anyone they don't like. Poor Pinky must have been treated badly by some idiot..........that is probably why he ended up in an animal shelter in the first place. I can't understand why the guy who was holding him, couldn't control what was happening. Aren't they supposed to be trained in handling ALL Animals?
