can any one tell the difference between DAP and IDM both give some same speed

I don't trust this program. I have a 512 kb/s connection, I usually get speeds like 180 @! max, but this program shoes speeds like 250 kb/s, however, the downloads still take the same amount of time. Plus I can even have utorrent open and downloading something and its still the same speed. something is fishy, plus I got a lot of stupid adware and toolbars.

@coolbounganvilla Yes, certainly, you can do it. In Options, click General in the left pane. There, uncheck the box that says 'Show DAP Status screen when DAP starts'. You're done.
