  • Nice disinformation. The carbon tax is perhaps a scam, but the warming, mostly caused by the sun heating up, will cook this planet. Things will cool for a period as the polar ice melts and raises ocean level drastically. People are probably pitching in and helping things bake with cars and rocketships but also "What is Harp doing?".

  • lets look at air conditioning in india

if no1 has an aircondition on at all the inside temp is 30 and the outside temp is 30

now every1 turns on thier a/c and the inside temp is 30 if you have an a/c 40 if you dont and its 40 outside.

its not so much that global warmign exists, its that we measure the temperature at the airport, which used to be outside the cities, and now is downtown.

if you take garbage data you get garbage results.

    but hey they convinced you

  • There's no vegetation left? There's no microbes left? 75% of the Earth's oxygen comes from microbes, the other 25% comes from vegetation (Miocrobiology, Prescott 2008). Oxygen takes up 21% of the atmosphere. Now consider CO2, it only takes up 0.038% of the atmosphere. In photosynthesis, for every CO2 fixed to glucose, 1 O2 is produced. I have faith in the vegetation (yes its still there) and the microbes.

  • I've read about studies that show that there were earlier times where vegetation grew abundant due to many factors, one being CO2, but the problem is, there's no vegetation left! The total "green" on earth has decreased due to human activity, and continues to decrease. I'm not saying that Global Warming is caused solely by CO2 emissions, but the overall result is still pretty much the same.

  • Yes, but now you get to the point of making unreal scenarios. Co2 production is not going to increase by a factor of 100. The human produced CO2 makes up about only 5% of the total CO2 produced. If that 5% increases by a more realistic factor of 5% every year, the environment can keep up. There is no reason why vegetation and photosynthetic bacteria/algae will not benefit from the extra CO2 and fix it into sugars. We are not producing too much CO2.

  • Yes, CO2 is actually a natural gas, it isn't considered dangerous. But consider this. If for some reason the amount of CO2 released daily increased by a factor of say 100, then the environment cannot keep up. It's not that CO2 is dangerous, it's that we're producing too much of it.

  • CO2 comes from respiration. Is the government going to start regulating our breathing? The liberals want to put significant breaks on our economy to stop a miniscule amount of CO2 from going into the air while other foreign economies surpass ours.

  • Hang on ,if this has happened before how cvan it be down to 'pollution' (which is what 'they' call CO2, a natural gas)? Lies, lies, lies, what a pile of tosh.

  • thanks for posting this

  • It's good that you actually use wikipedia, but bad you don't know what you're looking for.

"Thermal pollution" is NOT Global Warming. Thermal pollution is the effect on surrounding water several factories may or may not have by using the water as coolant. And when I say surrounding water, I mean like rivers or streaks, not oceans and seas. So Thermal pollution is NOT Global warming, and does NOT cause global warming. What are you like, 10?
