I agree with Rabbi Rivkin and it goes beyond that. Jerusalem is the center of the whole earth and the place where the nations go to worship the LORD, the G-d of the whole earth-Mount Zion, city of the great King! If the gentile nations touch (harm) the Jewish people, they "touch the apple of G-d's eye" and will suffer consequences for dividing the land of Israel.

I was a Jew. 18 months ago I converted. Now I am an Armenian Orthodox Christian. Ill correct some facts: The Jews are not the most ancient Nation in existence. Many Nations , both semitic and non, are more than 3,000 years old and converse in their original tongues ( Assyrians, Chaldeans, Zoroastrians, Chinese).The so called "moral standard" also included stoning for sexual promiscuity and human sacrifice (Binding of Isaac, Yiftah in Judges 11 sacrificed his virgin daughter because of neder)...

In today's world you can collaborate with evil or be against it. If you are against it, evil will send its servants to attack you everytime you seem vulnerable or inattentive. And, believe me, it has a lot of servants, many times disguised as good friends, as well.

If the world really had a great leader would we have terrorist. Could we live with-out the fear of our neighbor tearing down what little good Gods workers have to give? We have come a long way. And the road traveled has had a lot of blood. Who is going to lead, who is going to hold life Sacred, Who is going to be our Judge. Is The Future Made and our past just part of the Garden. How sacred is life. how sacred is our leader.
