Hal Schaffel as Attorney Jerry Geisler in MARILYN, THE UNTOLD STORY ABC 1980

This is a rare clip of my father, HAL SCHAFFEL who was one of the producers of the TV Movie, MARILYN, THE UNTOLD STORY starring Catherine Hicks in 1980. He was cast by the director as he bore an uncanny resemblence to the REAL Jerry Geisler, who was Marilyn's real attorney , and did this scene in real life.

I love this movie, it is the only bio movie I have seen that is kind to Marilyn, it is told in a very sensitive sad way. Although her death is shown as a suicide not murder. Catherine Hicks captured her child/woman personality..I like the scene when she sings to the troops, I never see it on TV anymore, it should be on DVD.
