bit late for answer but we were helped by lafuma, petzl, beal, and my father; absolutely not by north face. in my case, i am not sponsorised at all, i work as a mountain guide and pay each trip with my money!salto is not as wild as we thank(the place); many tourism, many base jumper, it was like a big circus at the biginning of the trip because of course, they use helicopter to go to the top and jump; really srtange atmosphere!anyway, great adventure!

That's a great short video of Angel Falls. Magnific work with the cameras and the climbing.I must say that it seems scary too.I'm very happy that it is just few hours flying from where my family lives, and that we have the opportunity to visit such a magic place.Even though Venezuelans have nothing to do with the creation of such a beauty, we are proud of having it in our part of Amazonian and the locals are great/experienced/authentic people. Experience the natural in a natural environment.

To be proud of a waterfall, that has always been there and in which creation the Venezuelans (not even Chavez) had no part, is a bit sad. Get over it. And do not try to sound Indian, because you're jusr reproducing what the sightseeing leaflet says. Fraud
