What song is this I cant remember and its annoying me?

He messes up at some parts but it's always good to see good musicians mess up cuz it shows that even the best make mistakes.
-
One of my favorite drummers. This guy is amazing!
-
He really uses his minimal kit to great advantage - for example, at 1:30 when we jump into the bridge vocals, he's using his snare (really hard hits) as the bright punch of the section, then when the guitars drop an octave and get heavier he switches to the double bass for the emphasis. Just great instincts, and a lot of years ahead of him to improve his already excellent skills...

his drumming works incredibly well with mastodon. they are the best band ever because of the technical differences of each member

@Turk656 I think the fact that he didn't take classes made him better; made him a musician and no a drummer. He developed his own style and raw energy. I think that's what people who play instruments should learn - learn to be themselves and express themselves, not what the guy next door can do. ^^

@DavidDecapitation ohhh!!

@yakbutter78 How can you say he fucks up in his own work?
@Yeahhhh444 He's technical, accents like a pro, buddy rich style. Got that brilliant voice on drums, when he plays you know it's him playing.
But he lacks the experience that Peart, Portnoy and other drummers at that level have.
Kind of like a diamond in the rough, but half the diamond is already cut and shining beautify, yet he still can improve on what he has.
I'd say that's a good thing, basically i'm saying he hasn't reached his peak yet.

this is all the reasons you need to stay away from triggers on snare and toms. also, how the hell is the highest rated comment for this video gonna be about the dude's shoes? that's incredibly stupid.
