Road ID website : http://www.roadid.com

I know that I mentioned this in the roadtrip videos to an extent. I did order the product, and her's a review of it for you folks. If you've got questions, you can ask me, or them. I do like the product, as it solves a few problems in a nice, elegant way. Not to mention it looks pretty cool too.

  • Oklahoma... you going to D-Day?

  • @SirGre Probably not, mostly financial. ER bill still hovering over my head, I can't justify dropping $500 - $1500 for a weekend of paintball when doctors need to be paid.

  • Great video. My only question is: How is someone going to know to look for that? It looks just like a regular bracelet.

  • @paintballjohn EMT's are trained to look for things like ID tags. The first thing they do is "ABC", airway, breathing, circulation. When they check any of those, they'll find a necklace (airway) or a bracelet (pulse on wrist). They also do a full body assessment, so they're not likely to miss an ankle strap or similar. this is why I don't like shoe tags, those can get lost if you lose your shoes, but generally speaking your ankles and wrists don't detach so easily.

  • Hahaha Monty Python. Dr. Piglet

  • I always find it odd how "designer" dog tags have the notch in them. People seem to think it was so they could be stuck between a dead soldier's teeth...which is blatantly wrong, and simply an old myth.

In reality, the notch in WWII-era dog tags was for the machine that printed the dog tag's information on carbon paper, for the use of medical forms.

  • Great video. You brought light to something I would have never considered. I usually leave my wallet in the car like you said and never though what would happen if I was unable to communicate with someone because I was hurt.

  • A LASER ENGRAVED dog tag with a "tooth notch?" Thats hilarious.

Humans are truly silly things. The keeping of traditions and styles that originated for practical reasons, long after their usefulness has expired, is a truly fascinating phenomena.

  • Warning: Severe BS allergy.
