the OOC games this year are Georgia, Tulsa, Toledo, Nevada, Fresno St (Nevada and Fresno not joining the MW until next year) that is hardly a challenging non-conference schedule for a team in a weak conference.

@MichiganFan39 BSU declined because it isn't willing to lose millions of dollars to Nebraska. If UN had scheduled an H&H, it would have been done. Nebraska wanted a 2 for 1, which would lose BSU a ton of money. It wants quality opponents, sure. It doesn't want to get ripped off, however.

@jamesroberts72 You don't think that BSU would take an invite from an AQ conference? If they were offered it, they would be there, plain and simple. People who use the argument "why don't they just move to an AQ conference?" don't understand how the system works. Also, the cupcake argument doesn't work either. They have to play the teams in their conference, regardless of who they are. The OOC games they pick are usually pretty rough.
