Yeah, I have a few 45's as well. ;) And this one's indeed an original checker top label pressing.
What else can I say abut this one - it's the classic that got Bo rollin'. :)
R.I.P., Bo.

Sounds way ahead of its time, almost like George Michael's "Faith" in 1987 (though that may have been a homage on George Michael's part).

I wish that WCBS-FM 101.1 in New York City, New York, USA would play this song again like they used to along with all other songs from the 1950's.

I grew up with Bo didley in the 80's! My dad refused to play anything that wasn't blues based, so Bo got played pretty regularly! I'm 32 now and i'm now hunting down Bo Didley records for my LP player coz i reckon they have more feel than the CD/MP3 does.

Bo Diddley was one of the pioneers of rock and roll. Too bad he never enjoyed the commercial success that Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and Little Richard did.

I heard this version with the original extended ending a long time ago on the radio, and I'd been looking for it ever since. Thanks for posting it!:-)
