  • I hope Our Lord will answer your prayers. I'll offer a prayer for you tonight! Remember that sufferings brings many graces for you, when you offer you sufferings to Our Lord, Jesus. Don't give up!

    God bless, Chris

  • @nukester You know,I used to be a vehement atheist till God gave the swift kick in the ass I needed to recognize Him, but I still always loved this song for some reason. Perhaps that's just more proof that God protects drunks and fools. I've been both. Amazing thing is that through all the hatred I built up in my heart, a song like this still rang beautifully.

For me that goes to show that no matter the odds, God wins, and it's up to us to decide if we want to be on the winning side or not.

  • One of the greatest vocalists ever singing one of the greatest songs ever about the Greatest ever. Doesn't get much better for the ears, does it?

  • @SuperKingJingaling I'l have to disagree with the idea that we should leave this beutiful history exactly the way it was left and build onto it rather than try to change it. My favorite patriotic marching theme however. May the 26 dislikes just remember why they can.

  • Played at Kennedy's funeral in 1968.

  • Columbia Records released this on 45 in 1968

  • @Chrissie644 haha a cristian XD

  • I have never heard this man sing before and I will admit his voice is absolutey brilliant!!!

  • I think Andy sang this at Robert Kennedys funeral in New York 1968

  • magnificent....you have done mother honor...you have honored us...thank you

  • In 1968, I was positive my favorite record of the year would be, "Hey Jude!", by The Beatles. That changed because of the murder of RFK. I campaigned for him up in San Francisco. Never opened to the public before. It was nervous time!

I had seen him at The Indian Center, there. My take was that he was very shy, here among the poor people.

  • Sung on the funeral of Bob kennedy...
