  • During the early 1980's, WBZ televsied about half of the Boston Celtics' schedule (some 40 regular-season games each year), including about 15 home games (one of the few NBA teams that alowed home game telecasts on over-the-air TV at the time), as well as all playoff games (home and away) not in the NBA's network TV package (then with CBS).

    It was the most extensive local TV schedule of any NBA team of the era

  • @loonmaniac That would be the legendary Mike Douglas, who had his own long-running (1965-82) syndicated talk show, "The Mike Douglas Show", which aired on many Group W owned-and-operated stations, including WBZ-TV 4 and KYW-TV 3 (where is was taped till 1977, when the series moved to L.A.).

  • The title of the campaign was "Channel 2's One For All" for ABS-CBN Manila and "Channel 3's One For All" for ABS-CBN Cebu (formerly MBS/PTV-3 Cebu)
