Wasteful spending and turning back the clock on Welfare Reform. With this Bill we have given States incentive to put people on Welfare rather than to work. Sad.

It took 8 years for the Democrats to find someone to take back the Presidency. People who think the Republicans are down and out have to keep that in mind. Lots of young politicians are coming to step up. Look at all the Republicans coming in Nov 2010. Most of them will win.

I disagree. I think we're all better off shed of them until the party reinvents itself. The republicans are just being obstructionists now because it's their only chance at winning back seats.

We should make our southern border twenty miles wide and give that land to Israel plus 10 billion/year but they have to spend it to build in their new lands.

I agree that Congress needs more Republicans. Although I am a Democrat, I am a strong fiscal conservative. Regardless of who stands for what, 1 party rule is far too dangerous for any nation.

Why are the Congressional Republicans coming up with good ideas NOW, after 8 years? They along with the President screwed things up, the people then turned to the Democrats, and now, only when they are powerless, do they come up with good ideas.

Jay - I get to see, on a daily basis, the results from instructors (profs), who are trying to rewrite history. Being a bit older, I've lived through some of the re-writting of history. When some of those same students get to my class(es), I have to re-educate them on the historical truth(s) ,,, frustrating, but fun!
