Totally agree about the fact that it's not because it's a public figure that it will makes a great debate.
On the ID website they're saying that it's a counterculture movement.
How countercultural it is to ask pseudo-serious qestions to famous people?

Absolutely agree on both points...Camera and soundman...change you job or go back to whatever job you usually...2nd point...Why do you assume that just because someone has become successful through their work and achieved fame or infamy you assume they will be able to educatedly answer such political questions? Alan McGee is a great music manager who has worked with some great bands but it doesn't mean to say his opinions on things like this are interesting

Ah, memo to the iterviewer here (with his sheet of prepared questions) - make sure you can hear the person you are interviewing! We can hear *your* rushes questions clearly - and then you don't put the mic anywhere near mumbling Alan. Not that the answers (for all I could hear) were all that enlightening.
