C6 Zo6 has much more HP and alot better power to weight ratio its a given its a complete package for a racing fan right out of the gate stock.

@BeheadedOne Who under rates them? The World I love in Camaro has been on top since 1993 up until 2002 when they stopped making the SS the recent SS's are going to run good, if they didn't something would be wrong 420hp... Anything with motor work is going to be fast even a 4.6 mustang GT. Stock vs Stock a LS1 SS vs a C6 Zo6 Vette would be stomped on the 1.4m, track, stopping or handling take you pick.

he's right, the LS1 can keep up with a corvette stock for stock. even though it can't win. put some tasteful mods in to open up the intake and exhaust and it could easily beat a stock corvette. the heads can easily do it.

Ive never thought I would see a camaro beat a vette. Im dropping in a SS LS1 in my 92 RS soon. The bolt ons will come shortly after. I hope I can get mine as evil as that camaro.

The 95 Mustang Cobra R's came with 351s in them. Albeit there were only 300 made with 300 hp each and one would run you about 20k now, they were built with amazing racing specs. They could have done wonders with a more advanced intake and possibly a SC. I'm happy with my LS2 Camaro now that my Mustang days are over though. RIP LS1(thrown rod, January 2008).
