sometimes in the early morning it is good but when the sun is up all the way the ducks flare because they can see the pole holding it up

We use them with great success, and we're no amateurs. Friend of mine had a wood duck hovering right over his mojo waiting for the mojo duck to land, she just hung there, like "well?" You gotta stick out these days, the ducks are too shot up by the time they get down here.
