In this pastime, Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, reminds everyone that He is the Supreme person. Srila Prabhupada instructs in the Srimad Bhagavatam how worship of the demigods is not necessary. When Krishna discovers that Nanda Maharaja, his cowherd father, is preparing a sacrifice for Indra, he convinces Nanda to, instead, worship Govardhan Hill. Indra learns of this and, becoming angry, sends hail and storms to Vrindavan to try and destroy Krishna and all the residents of Vrindavana. Krishna lifts Govardhan Hill, holding it as an umbrella to protect all the cows and residents. When Indra sees this show of Krishna's supreme power, he surrenders himself at the lotus feet of Sri Krishna and apologizes for his pride.
This is part 1 of this pastime, as sung on the children's tape "Krishna Pastimes."

@ShaktipatSeer cute, isn't it? I love these songs! I've a whole little series dedicated to them.
There are so many more songs I've yet to make videos for, too...
