Hey flymanjg,
I really like hte work you have done here and thanks for posting the great videos. I wanted to know what space you have for the walkways in your layout. It's hard to tell from the benchwork but I'm guessing you have about 2'.

Hi Flyman,
I think I've got my space allocated (2 4x6 benches in a "T" with a 6x4 accross the top and the other butted against the left edge of the top bench, giving a 10x4 run). I mentioned last time I'm new to HO (and 50 years since I last set up a layout). I don't know how to plan my track plan due to the electrical needs. I would like to get as long a run as possible, and run 3 trains at once, any suggestions?

@55trains Make sure your power bus wire is 12 - 14 ga. Use 20 -22ga feeders soldered at every 6 feet of track. Make sure your feeders from the track to the bus wire are no longer that 12 inches. A great book to follow is "DCC made easy" by Lionel Strang.

That is some sweet shit right there, I noticed you are using split cork bed, that stuff is what I use and is very nice to work with. I also admire the open-grid construction, I would like to do that with my layout but don't have the funding to do so right now, keep us updated.
