This was recorded in Worcester Cathedral - the organ is the old Hope-Jones/Harrison instrument which was so disgracefully destroyed recently, having fallen out of fashion. Its replacement lacks the incredible grandeur of sound you hear in this - or any sort of character, really.

I've been a fan of this album for many years, and still own the original vinyl...along with The Odyssey, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Stars End, and Nurses Song With Elephants.
