Strange how many people are seemingly unable or unwilling to use acceptable language, or even check their spelling. Yet these same people complain about another person's fingernails? Amateur Radio is a very long-lived & respected hobby with very important functions in every single time of trouble and/or disaster. Sadly, there is that faction that thinks more money spent makes the hobby, (& them), better. The only thing this does is drive up the cost for everyone - except us home-brewers!

@bben95..the loser I was responding to car costs about 500 bucks and he talks crap about something he knows nothing about. If I'm paying for something that might be overpriced I'd rather for it to be a ham radio than many other things...like gas!

@expertvillage- if you're such an expert, why are you transmitting on 14.350 so your signal can go outside the band..unless you live in Russia or something and you're bootlegging a US callsign. Tune up on 347.5 or 348 next time.
