  • @MiFraDeLa88 Also there might be a computer built from this, that processes about whole byte in parallel in single wire. Not sure about MHz though :)

  • Devices like these can be used to do automated chemical reactions on a very small scale. This is most useful is the pharmaceutical industry where it is desirable to make "libraries" of molecules that are similar but slightly varied.  You could program a device like this to try a series of hundreds or even thousands of similar but slightly different chemical reactions, then test all the molecules it made to see if any would work as a drug. Small scale is cheaper and generates less waste.
