@phatbieu The Irony is my RE teacher was obessed with Buddhism - and the sad reality is Buddhism doesn't provide the answers, it trys to reform people by not allowing them to be attached to the world but it doesn't provide any answers, some take Buddah as God - some don't believe in God so it's rather confusing.

@QuranTafseer I guess you have studied a lot more than I do but ideal religion to me is one that civilized values. if it doesn't then CHANGE it! why people have to stick to the damn book(s) and follow it blindly? look at recent Koran burning in Afghan and the reaction of a bunch of violent people. Those were probably guys that detonated Buddhist statues years ago. Why ONLY their values but no others'?

@phatbieu The sad reality is that you are generalising people, also one may Ask "what are American troops doing in Afghanistan?"

the simple reality is the Afghan situation is not as clear cut as the media points out, America invaded a country over one person whom they didn't have any evidence - just their word,

the situation of the statues i suggest you look it up, the reason why they were distroyed is found on youtube, i don't agree with what happened but i can understand why,

@daveyork0 Because the Arabic is closer to the source, e.g, Joseph wasn't european,

why is it that the name Yusuf or Yusef as it is found in the hebrew bible evolved into "Joseph" in the newtestament, do you know that the letter "J" doesn't exist in hebrew i.e. the sound for "j", hence all we are doing is going back to the origianl forms of those names,

Jospeh X = Yusuf/Yusef,

Just like Saul turned into Paul and the Meseeh into "christ"

@SuperJmo666 I call paganism devil worship and that is what you are involved in e.g. if you saw Jesus prostrating to God as in the Gospel of Mattew we Muslims would do the same as him but if chrisitans were around at his time they would start to bow to him since they don't want to use their common sense that someone who worships another is not worthy of worship i.e. prostration.
