they have never said it was going to be a reboot, ever, period......the dark knight best comic movie ever....rofl, u are a pop culture whore, the game is not in jeopardy either, it's official site has said it was pushed back to line up to line up with the 25th anniversary of the first movie

Ghostbusters III should NOT be a reboot. It should be a direct sequel to the first two movies just like the video game is.
No new team thankyou very much. We have a perfect group of characters already.

The office is great. I think fresh talent will help the gb franchise.
Plus, at this point it's not a reboot. As of right now, they're writing for Bill, Ernie, DAn and Harold. If someo of those actors pass on the script, then they said they may introduce new gb's to the crew or recast it completely. (Dan said in an interview that Bill Murray would be involved to some degree.)
The game IS going to be released. it's coming out in March or June of 2009.

No, what I was bringing up was since it was announced at the time the third movie was going the Batman Begins route, the video game that was supposed to be after the movies might not have been even released. Thankfully, it will be and it's come out that the third movie won't be a reboot since then.
