  • Hello, This unit is discontinued now. The newest model is the GPX5000 that I do sell and stock all the time. Give us a call - 623.362.1459 Rob @ Rob's Detector Sales

  • Hello All, Nuggethunting is not easy, but then again its very possible to find gold nuggets. I've seen guys find them the first day out, others struggle for weeks, months even years without their first gold nugget. If you have questions about metal detecting, shoot me over an email at - auplacers@yahoo.com or give us a call at 623-362-1459.

  • Hey Woody, Those $50 nuggets add up when you continue to find them. I will take any $50 nugget any day and add it to the collection. Let see ... 100 - $50 nuggets = $5,000. Yep, if you're willing to get out and do it you can pay for the metal detector in a week, month or year depending on your experience, time you dedicate, locations you're searching and even a bit of the luck factor.

    Take care

  • Good salesman for minelab dude. You very much sound like a minelab rep. All i found with my minelabs was junk. No gold or you would have to work 8 hours straight to maybe find 1.

  • Hello Nevawake, Sorry you were not successful with the Minelab's. Minelab metal detectors are not magic wands. It's takes hundreds, if not thousands of hours to become a successful nugget hunter. Who thought finding gold nuggets was easy, you? I found tons of iron rubbish with them, but many .... many pounds of gold.

Without a doubt, the Minelab GPX-4500 is one of the best handheld metal detectors on the market for gold gold nuggets.

    Take care

my ace 250 is the best

see my video PROSPECTING ACE 250

I'm brazilian prospector , the ace 250 is the best in prospecting

garrett melhor que minelab , minelab no good

  • @morph1554, well I can tell you a GPX5000, which is the newer will not get 9x the depth, but I couldn't imagine using a VLF such as the Garrett Gold Scorpion after using a Minelab PI. The Minelab PI's are probably 100 times more immune to mineralization then your VLF and will get 2-3 times the depth realistically. You might want to look into the new GPX5000 for $5,795.00 :)

  • can somebody tell me the price of this metal detector???

  • @orangedac hahaah i can tell you that you are right, ive only found a couple nuggets all under 1oz but still nice

  • @BEASTLYSTANG1999

i don't think its all that easy to find gold.

probably you have to dig up 10,000 holes before you find anything.

  • damn i want one so bad... just makes me wonder what i have missed hahaha

  • I have a series of metal detectors that I need an experienced person to help me, talk to me about them. PM me when you can.

should I judge a purchase on he size of the coil? I'm using it for gold searching.

I've come across lots of old metal detectors

And don't know the pros and cons of it.
