I dont think so, He probably used his Hentor sportscaster with his jcm 800, Google the guitar its pretty sweet, I'm building my own!

I read somewhere that Alex used a single coil strat for this song. Is that possible? because the opening riff, and the song in general sounds real punchy. Sounds more like humbucker tone to me with the exception of the chorus.
