how to add a favicon to dreamweaver

Step 1:
Open up DreamWeaver and go to your Index.html page.

Step 2:
Go to www.favicon.co.uk and then tick 16x16 and then click browser and find your image and click okay, then click generate favicon, Save it to your desktop and dont rename or edit anyof the file.

Step 3: Change the urls of this html to your 001webs link
EG:
link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.vcheats.001webs.com/favicon.ico" mce_href="http://www.vcheats.001webs.com/favicon.ico"/

Your Turn:
link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.YOURWEBSITE.com/favicon.ico" mce_href="http://www.YOURWEBSITE.com/favicon.ico"/

Step 4: Paste the code above. and then save it
META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"

Step 5: Then log into your webhost threw Firezilla, and drag drop your favicon.ico into the main webhost and then drop your index.html page into the firezilla because you added the previous code threw dreamweaver which means you now need to update it in firezilla.

Step 6: Wait a couple of minutes then preview your website!
