I hope they can compensate reduced prices by more sales. This car is all-electric, if battery replacement stations become reality, reducing price (of a simplified version) to around 40k will win them a lot of business.

I also noticed in Europe model S is more expensive: considering EUR/USD exchange rate, it is like 10% more expensive in Europe.

It seems impossibly, because they only focus on high price car consumers, the battery price will be to sensitive for low price car markets. if you really want to a e-vehicle, to see the BYD and lit motors.

I love the car. But it is a little too expensive for me. They should have attempted not to compromise price as well. Can you make a 150 Mile range for under 40 grand? That's something.
