Defining Moment: Dan McCafferty's sympathetic to the lyrics finger wag & wry smile to the audience at 5:26. Guitarist Manny Charlton learned a little from Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover's producing efforts on Nazareth's earlier albums. His insertion of Joni Mitchell's "This Flight Tonight" onto "Loud n' Proud" proved a huge radio/exposure breakthrough. One of the few cover songs in history where a band clearly transformed & improved upon the original. Joni opined "They made it their very own".

Spine Tingling performance of the definitive "Hard Rock Lifestyle" Anthem. Construed, constructed & communicated in concert by Dunfermline,Scotland's finest. The conflicting forces of irresistible hedonistic pleasures, fatigue, adrenaline, resilience, frenetic travel schedules, questionable dietary intake, personal geographic disorientation, professional responsibility, recreational substance perusal & copious collisions with comely concubines apprised of the convenient contentment of casual coitus.
