Sanford encourages predatory birds, such as hawks and falcons, to nest near the vineyards, to naturally help control vineyard pests such gophers.
Our mission is not only to be a good environmental citizen to humans, but to the natural animal population. We actively encourage wildlife to be a part of our environs, by providing nesting grounds on the periphery of our vineyards.
