Richard Dreyfuss appeared on the ABC morning show "The View" to promote the movie "W." in which he plays Dick Cheney on 10/28/2008. He also was asked to comment on Civics, which Richard is passionate about being taught in schools today. Very good interview I feel and Richard always tells it like it is and I admire him for that.

  • Dreyfuss is such a blowhard.

  • @emoviebuff87 I assume he was expecting Oliver to make a bold statement like with JFK and Nixon and felt like he held back or something. This is still better than World Trade Center though.

  • he came here to promote the film, however, I think he actually demoted it. Good for him!!!

  • The only thing good about Dick Cheney, he had a good actor to portray him.

  • Like Behar gives a damn about the founding fathers. Please.

  • I wonder if Mr. Oliver Stone will make a movie about our hmm hhhmm current commander in chief, First it was W. now heerreee's the Bamster.

  • One need not really answer a question relating to the necessity of teaching civics/social studies as it is wretchedly rhetorical. But, if you must answer such a question, two word: Sarah Palin.

  • @greggymcgurks yeah..he thinks so too.
