Evel Knievel January of 1977 RARE shark tank jump in Chicago, Illinois.

In January of 1977, Evel was to jump a shark tank in Chicago, Illinois at the International Amphitheatre. During a practice jump Knievel crashed on the landing ramp, going through the retension wall and injured a cameraman. This was Evel's last jump.

My grandma worked at Michael Reese hospital where Evel went after he crashed. She was an xray tech..and she xray'd him..his whole body. She came home that evening with an xray of his pelvis!!! She came home and showed it to everyone, "there is his pelvis, no broken bones. and there is his penis." HAHA..it was awesome. She still has it. It's the ONLY THING I asked her to will to me when she dies. What a great keepsake for a grandma to pass on, huh?

He crashed into the cameraman...and the camera man lost the eye. This upset Evel more than any of his other crashes because he hurt someone else. You can read it in his biography.

I knew this existed! I've tried to tell people for years about Evils last jump and nobody seemed to remember except me. Well, after years of telling people and nobody rembering, I started to think it never happened till now! lol I remembered how disapointed I was that he wasent going to jump :( Little did I know it was his last. Bummer. I loved Evil. He was my hero growing up.
