I was single when I went and made some of the best friends of my life. I understand its tough for you married folks, but its what you make out of it.
On one bus tour up a mountain we got lost walking down, my buddies and I had to walk through villages trying to get back. What a experience. 89/90 Do they still call the new guys Green Beans? Manny Crash Rescue

I was there from 05-06. Some advice, don't count the days if you're anxious to get outa there and travel. Visit the different places. Atleast go to the DMZ. I didn't do any of those things and now I regret it. Luckily Im going back in august but this time it'll be osan. Have fun cuz you might not have that opportunity again.

I was at Kunsan in 1975. I grew to love it and now it is my favorite memory out of the 4 Air Force years. I was young and single and it was a great place to be.

My husband left for Korea in August too...it is hard on both of us, but at least now it is half over! Good luck to you and your family! BTW what squadron are you in? You probably know my hubby!
