I remember reading the she was 'discovered' by her pastor who was walking by her house when she was practicing piano as a little girl and he was blown away. by the voice. Absolutely one of the clearest and most beautiful voices ever to exist.

I remember the first time I saw this video (on TV). I was struck by how effortless singing seemed to Ms. Flack -- as easy as breathing, so it seemed. I suspect many will disagree (and that's fine, of course), but I regard her as the greatest female singer ever.
