Sheer brilliance to add the braids to catch the shorter layers! I just did this style: easy and fun look. My only additional tip for those with medium to thick hair: after making the 2 braids, gather your hair for the pony tail placing the braids so they lay on top of hair and then secure with a band. If you don't the braids will get lost in your hair and not show: defeating the purpose of adding braids to this look.
