The Access to Information Act gives you the legal right to see official documents held by Government Bodies. You may also ask for personal information to be changed if it is incomplete, misleading, out of date or incorrect.
The Access to Information Unit (A. T. I. U.) has been established to spearhead and guide the implementation and administration of the Access to Information Act, which was passed in June 2002. The Unit falls under the Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports
