Jawhar Namiq

Kurdistan region president, Masoud Barzani sent his condolence message to the family and friends of Jawhar Namiq, the first speaker of Kurdistan National Assembly.

Unfortunately, today I have been aware of the death of our fellow and well-known Peshmarga of our nation, Mr. Jawhar Namiq, which deeply depressed me.

Mr. Jawhar was one of my fellows in Kurdish fight field, we were like brothers. Both within the political life and outside of it, he had special status and was admired by me and my fellows.

His role of transitional presidency can never be forgotten. He was a hero of difficult days, that is why missing him is not harmful only for me, but for our entire nation.

I send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of prominent politician Mr. Jawhar Namiq, God bless him.
