Terry O'Quinn (acting) and Michael Giacchino (music) - Memorable Scene (LOST) (HD)

Terry deserved his Emmy just for this powerful scene from LOST - what an amazing actor. One can't but marvel at how he pulls off those expressions with ease. Having been brought up as an orphan, his (John Locke's) excitement knew no bounds when he found his mother, who then lied that he had been immaculately conceived, leading him to his father (Anthony Cooper), an unscrupulous conman. This scene is where he discovers that he has been conned by his own father into giving him a kidney. Terry's portrayal of a man who has seen nothing but failure and disappointment all his life, desperate for a sign, is matched only by some of his own performances in the ensuing seasons of LOST. Michael Giacchino's music just magnifies the impact a thousand times.
