Long-legged fly

These flies are everywhere and they make me very happy:) They come in metallic green, blue, and copper colors. They feed on very small insects and have also been observed sucking up some honeydew from their leafhopper friends! The honeydew gives them their carbohydrates:)) Some adults have elongated mouthparts and are known to suck up some nectar! Music from creative commons channel 'ccmixter'. Artist is 'ljova'.
