  • I know this guy's doing his best but Garner did not fill the right hand chords with any old notes between the octave but used very, very explicit and deliciously chosen chords EVERY time. I'm amazed that some people think that he just played a common shape, he never did, even at high speed. Your 2nd chord (melody E) , change the notes to E A C E2 play 2x for "New Or-" , and change to E Ab B Db E for "-Leans" (over G6 b9 ) and you'll hear what I mean.
