This is a short demo I made with Hollywood Strings to try and utilize the great legato lines that the cellos can produce. The reverb is also awesome:) Software: Hollywood Strings, Logic 8

1:01-1:16, I realize is a replica of Lion King-this was completely by accident:)

  • LION KING! You can here the theme from "This Land" Starting at about 1:04. I don't think it was intentional, but it might have been.

Song is good, but the great part was taken directly from Hans Zimmer....

  • @ShadeLevora As I have said many times, I accidentally used this theme, thinking it was my own (I hadn't heard the soundtrack in over 10 years, so it was kind of embedded in my subconscious).

    Cheers,

    -JD

  • Does this work good on a MAC? I noticed you used Logic. I have Logic too and a 6 core Mac desktop. Does this hold good? any issues you've seen? click, pops? Thanks for the video. :)

  • @rjk1482 Works great! No clicks or pops or anything-although I did meet Nick Phoenix once and he told me I shouldn't be able to run it on my machine...just luck sometimes I guess!

  • @realsoundtracks fair enough but i find it rude to criticize someone elses work without anything of their own

  • Beautiful.

  • @jdrcomposer I am sorry, I read your thing right after I posted it. My mistake. I do love your song though, but I got chills at that part.
