first of all, i want to say that i do not judge people on what they wear because different people have different styles and tastes. some people want an item and are willing to spend a fraction of the price for an imitation. another positive of fakes is that it can act as a "beat-up" pair if you DO own the real thing - wear it to wild parties or nights out without worrying about damage, loss, or theft.

anyways, im not offended by fake sunglasses and stuff because it does not cause me any harm. if you are offended, realize that this stuff exists, find something worthwhile to get pissed off at, & get over it.
