Q: you guys did a good job defensively in the first half, what happened in the second half?
AI: just broken down, especially on trasition baskets, we didn't get back to protect baskets, they got some runouts, easy baskets, and they went on their run, and we basically expected them to go on, but once they made that run, we just couldn't get back.
Q: what happened at the free throw line?
AI: yeah, I mean, we just struggled, I struggled bad at the free throw line, I made one and missed one, I could never put two together, you know, I concentrated, I was focused, they just didn't go down, it's unacceptable, you know, they're gonna foul me when I go to the basket, and when we get into the penalty, I got to be there to knock the shots down, so that had a lot to do with it, you know, the funstration started to set in because the shots felt good, they just didn't go down.
Q: when you guys talked about your ejection...
AI: I mean, you know, he made the right decision about throwing me out, I deserved to get thrown out at that point. Obviously I thought I got fouled in the hand shake on that play, and I felt he was right on the play and didn't make the call, I was funstrated, but I deserved to get thrown out.

AI: we just try to concentrate on all the things that we did right, and the negative things, we try to just make sure they don't happen. we did a lot of good things, we did a lot of bad things on this game. Our whole thing is to take the positive things we did and try to transfer them to the next game, leave the negative things right here. You know, we got the lead, I think it was like 10 points or something, so obviously you know, we played well in spurs, we got down very bad in the beginning, then we were able to come back and take the lead, so you know we got to feel good about some of things we did, but the funstrating part about it is that we didn't win the basketball game, and that's the sole purpose, so like I said, we just try to take the positive things and transfer them to the next game, leave the negative things right here in this game.
Q: at the Uath game last week, close game, Camelo had that flagrant foul, and it just changed the momentum, tonight's game, would it be the Anthoney Carter's foul that was kinda in the similar situation in your eyes in the close game?
AI: Honestly I mean that's exactly what happened, you know, one they got the flagrant, it went up, we had to play up hill from that, we just couldn't get the control of the game again after that point, I don't know about the flagrant call, but was it flagrant, was it the technique? ... yeah, it was the technique on AC, I think he deserved the tech, but once he fouled Kobe and tried to hold him up, and he smacked him in his face, so obviously Anthoney was gonna react. It was just tough they didn't see him smack him in his face.
Q: Coming here as underdog, did you flash back to all those 2001?
AI: No, the situation is so much different, you know, my team was very talented then, but this team is a lot different from that team. I think the team of 2001 was, we won the games by our defense, and we won a lot of games playing ugly, I might been shooting 40%, 42% from the field, and still pull a game out. This team, we score a lot more than that team, we have a lot of weapons on this team, but not taking anything away from the team of 2001 because everybody tried to play the right way and we played together.
Q: just the part about being the underdog, you feel like you are as much as being the underdog as back then?
AI: Yeah, it's the same, it's pretty much the same. You know, in that series, people thought we were gonna get swept, they had swept everybody else up to that point, so people thought we were getting swept. In this series, everybody is picking LA to win the series, so it's pretty much the same, we basically are underdogs, people don't think we have a chance at all, but I am not gonna give up that easy.
Q: Allen, you mentioned the positive things and stuff, obviously it was Kleiza, how important do you think he can be to the series?
AI: very important, we're gonna need everybody. we understand how much attention it is gonna be drawing on myself and Camelo, we understant that, and our teammates understand that, guys're gonna take advantage of those moment, when they concentrate on me, trying to keep me out of the lane, trying to get me balled up, and Melo as well, other guys are gonna step up, he did a great job tonight, hopefully he is gonna keep that confidence throughtout the playoffs cause we're gonna need him, we're gonna need JR, we're gonna need everybody to beat this team, they are not the number one seed for nothing, they deserve to be here, they have one of the greastest players that ever plays the game on the squat, so it's gonna be rough, and then when you add Gasol and Lamar Odom, that makes that much more difficult, so we understand what's at the stake.
