Royal Derwent mental hospital 1830-2000 is the oldest mental asylum in the southern hemisphere and without a doubt the most haunted place in Australia. It was a place of torture for over 170 years.

I feel sad for the poor mental health patients that will not be left in peace and people that use this place as an amusement park, says allot for their mentality.I worked in psychiatric hospitls 20 years ago and these poor people were subjected to bad management by staff , were over drugged to shut them up and poorly understood. Thank god we have people that are more understanding and want to help theses people. RIP to these tortured people

dude it's like half hour drive, so would take a few hours i guess, there would be busses from town to new norfolk tho. yeah that tag says alot!!

Yeah they were taken over about an 8 month period this year and last year, it's a pity about the quality we only used a 5MP camera.
